Last weekend my girlfriend and I went to a family party where Uncle David lent me a bunch of tapes that he got whilst travelling a few years back. So thanks to Uncle David for giving us this taste of the fabulous Raissa Rkya Damcyria (or Demssirya, Damsirya, or Talbensirt). This is beautiful, hectic music from the Souss Valley of Southern Morocco. Can't say much about this other than it features amazing rabab playing and this ringing percussion instrument that really bends the mind after a while:Tracklist:
