I have a DVD of this, which allows listening to the score on its own. I liked this trippy film from when I first saw it in the '70s, but I didn't know who Alain Goraguer was at the time, nor Roland Topor for that matter. The liner notes there mention Goraguer's work with Gainsbourg, but not that he was known in French Jazz circles in the '50s. His trio is documented on Vol. 71 of the Jazz in Paris series of discs. He was also one of Boris Vian's writing partners, having provided the music for La Java des Bombes Atomiques, among other classics. I believe Goraguer died just this past year.
